Abstract

The emergence of the new digital economy, supported mainly by IT - Information Technology – and the Internet has brought changes in business strategies and structures, fostering the creation of various forms of collaboration between companies, customers and suppliers. Building on this new paradigm, the present study aims to present a project developed in a collaborative manner, involving actors who were geographically dispersed and held distinct but complementary skills and knowledge. The interaction of actors and the coordination of the project’s activities, carried out almost entirely in a virtual manner, resulted in the electronic integration of Localiza Rent a Car – largest car Rental Company in Latin America - with a global reservations system called Amadeus network
